Be Seen with Peabody Institute Library on Transgender Day of Visibility!

Register here and you will receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email.

Join us on Zoom on March 31 to hear engaging stories, historical information, moving poems and prose, and more from transgender and nonbinary community members and their allies. All ages and all genders welcome!

The event will be emceed by Librarian Gabi Toth, and features our own Gabe Jayroe to lead us off with a presentation on why Trans Visibility matters. Then, transgender and non-binary community members and their allies will share stories, poems, and prose to make their voices heard. We'll also leave time at the end for community discussion and Q&A.

For our headliner, we have writer/performer, activist and poet Laurie Wolfe.  Laurie has been been a speaker and trainer with SpeakOut Boston for the last 16 years. She's also appeared in the Vagina Monologues with VDay Boston for three years, and in Bilicious at the Club Cafe for four years, telling stories about her life as a Jewish BLT.

Registration for this event has now closed.
