Looking for and applying for a job has changed dramatically in recent years. Once upon a time we searched the newspaper, typed up a resume and mailed it off, then waited for a phone call inviting us for an interview. These days the job search and application process has gone online for many jobs. Join us for this free workshop with employment specialist and career coach, Gary Gekow to learn important job search strategies and tips to help you be successful in your job search. This virtual workshop is part of our New Year: New Job series and will be offered via Zoom. It is free and open to the public but space is limited and registration is required. It will cover:

- Job alerts
- Job boards
- Job aggregators
- Company employment pages
- How to best utilize these websites for submitting your resume
Learn more about the instructor: Gary Gekow is a senior employment specialist, career coach, and owner of Resume Your Career. He has 30 years of recruiting and employment services experience in the New England staffing industry. He partners with job seekers from the Greater Boston area across a wide range of specialties and assists with a variety of employment search strategies including resume creation, interview coaching, LinkedIn profile branding and career counseling.
