TACO Tuesday - Main Library; Reading Mentors!

Earn community service hours by participating in Teen Advisory and Community Organization, or as we like to call it, TACO!
On the LAST Tuesday of every month, Children will practice reading books aloud with a teen reading mentor and the teens will read aloud to the children. Registration is required. Open to children grades K-5. If you would like to pick out books to read please arrive 10 minutes before the program to browse or bring your own books to practice reading with. Meet in the Teen Room.
Each Tuesday, teens can come to the teen room at the Main Library and help better the Peabody Institute Library. Teen volunteers will will be given tasks that help the library and / or your community in some way. As compensation, teens receive one hour of community service hours, and a free food the first Tuesday of the month.
